Anel Lee identifies as a second-generation Mexican-American who was born and raised in Los Angeles. Thanks to her heritage, she is able to provide therapy in both English and Spanish.
Anel received her Bachelor's in Psychology from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. She attended Walden University to complete her Master's in Social Work with a specialization in Military Family and Culture. During her MSW program, she completed internships at East Los Angeles Women's Center and Peace Over Violence. Anel is a certified Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Advocate.
Anel's history as both a service member and a military spouse gives her a unique perspective and strong desire to address the needs of the military community and families with a focus on helping girls and women.
Anel has a passion for helping trauma survivors heal through mental health guidance. She specializes in treating trauma, depression, and anxiety through the use of empowerment and resilience-based methods.
