Ariana Garcia, LCSW
I am a Spanish-speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California. My preferred pronouns are she, her, and hers. I am currently an Adjunct Professor in the CSU System and a Clinical Supervisor for Masters-level students. I am passionate about working with Transitional Age Youth (TAY) who have experienced adversities due to abuse, racism, social injustices, and immigration. As an intersectional feminist, I strive to create equitable environments for my students and patients.
I take an eclectic approach with my patients. I will provide you with unconditional positive regard while also discussing Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to facilitate change. If you are ready for a challenge that involves psychoeducation and processing during sessions, then I look forward to working with you and becoming a part of your support system.
