Broderick Brown, APCC

I am a registered associate clinical counselor in the state of California and am very passionate about helping others in all facets of life. I have a background working with a variety of different populations and want to make sure you feel respected and demonstrate growth as we go on this therapeutic journey together. I began trauma therapy in 2020 with Peace Over Violence, where I worked the crisis line and became a strong advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. My experiences there not only solidified my love to aid others, but to help guide individuals through any traumatic situation, regardless of what stage of processing they are in.

I believe in evidence-based trauma-focused approaches, experimenting with different tools and modalities that fit your individual needs. Combining psychodynamic techniques with accountability worksheets and daily tasks can make a drastic difference in one's mental state and functionality. As someone who is trained in eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and who has seen the positive effect it can have on my clients firsthand, this technique can be used as an alternative to the traditional therapeutic approach of "talk" therapy, providing another facet of growth and healing.

Let us go on this journey together!
